Chess Partners

– Chess Partners is a group who enjoy meeting over a chess board every Tuesday morning from 9:30am.  Some play faster, some slower, but always with good humour.  And we even managed to play online all through COVID lockdowns!

We welcome all players – whether you learnt from your father or played at school, or in a chess club (or when you were hiking in the Swiss Alps, waiting for the weather to clear!).  If you have only slight expertise we can help you progress.

Chess can sometimes be like watching paint dry.  However, we take time to have a chat, and you might hear some amazing experiences.
