Volunteering

The whole worldwide U3A movement relies on volunteers – without them, there would be no U3A.

New volunteers are always welcome to join the team. There are many roles you can choose from and examples are given below. For further enquiries, please contact .

Office volunteers usually give a regular half a day per week or so in the office for administrative and reception support.  Full training and support is provided.

Our Committee of Management is an essential part or the smooth running of U3A Stonnington.

Tutors are the backbone of our organisation. There is almost no limit to what courses we can offer if we have someone with the knowledge, skill and willingness to teach or lead.  You don’t need teaching qualifications – just a can-do attitude.

Our Curriculum Committee organises and schedules classes. Suggestions or offers for new courses and tutors are very welcome. Other volunteers could help with marketing, library, building – opening and closing, technology support (including A/V and Zoom), reception and the Website.
